WATSYS will help you analyze, design and manage your water supply system. It is a comprehensive graphic information system (GIS) for your water infrastructure.

This software will simulate situations to identify and correct deficiencies in an existing distribution system, to expand a system to meet future demands, or to predict a system's performance during such emergencies as pump failures, main breaks, equipment malfunctions or fire flows. It may be used to carry out simulations for peak usage periods and low demand cycles. WATSYS can also perform water quality analysis including chlorine decay, fluoride distribution, source tracing and water age. Models may be created to better understand the movement and transformation of treated water.

AutoCAD Connection

WATSYS runs alone, but if you have AutoCAD, the two will work together. Use your own base plan to capture node and pipe locations. Our toolbar makes it easy to pick, place, locate or edit water system components. Generate detailed drawings using the same color-coding as the key plans.

  • customize our toolbar to add nodes and pipes, edit or view their data, auto-number new nodes and pipes, or repeat functions

Import water meter data to calibrate your model. Pick polylines from an AutoCAD drawing to get areas. Predict the effects of development by extracting loads of various scenarios such as present-use, ultimate density (built-out) or future zoning.

Water Supply Model

The basis for the analysis is EPANET which was developed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
